Wedding Videos Myths Believed By Couples
Thanks to many myths, couples choose not to hire a videographer for their wedding. It’s a sad story though. Couples believe myths and miss all the power of Wedding Videos for the rest of their lives. Apart from common myths related to Wedding Videos, let’s talk about hidden myths too. Recently, I spoke with one of my friends, and she told me her reasons for not getting a videographer. Let’s discuss them in details here.
1) Videographers do Wedding Videos ignoring our style: No, professional videographers never ignore your likes and dislikes. Every videographer has a sit-down meeting with the couple before the wedding to knowing your likes and dislikes. Now it has become a common practice, and all the videography firms make sure the couple and the videographer meet face to face before the wedding. Other than the traditional moments that should be in Wedding Videos, you can suggest your moments to be in the final footage. You are paying money for your Wedding Videos so you can suggest anything. Anyway, there’s a thing to keep in mind. They are professionals who know about Wedding Videos from A to Z. So, if they give you a suggestion; consider it as an advice given by a professional.
2) The videographer will interfere with the function: Yes, he will; to some extent, but he will not ruin everything. He tries his best to capture the moments in style without disturbing the others. You can consider it in this way. You can spend the biggest day in your life without a videographer (without interference in your words,) but after the day is gone; what do you have as a memory bringer? You will remember it for a few months, but when your children ask about it; then you will go speechless. We, humans, don’t remember things for long. You will forget it soon, trust me. You have the photo album, but they are just pictures. Can you hear them? On the other hand, photographers capture only the best/traditional moments, but many sweet things take place in between those moments. Wedding Videos have them all in it.
3) Wedding Videos are artificial: Some couples think that they will have to act for the video. No, you don’t have to be looking at the camera all the time and become actors. Don’t look at the camera when the function is taking place. Be casual and natural. It’s not a wedding pre-shoot. The videographer will record it using suitable angles. The both of you just spend the day happily. Well, Wedding Videos looked artificial in the 70s and 80s, but not in today’s world.
4) We will not watch it again and again: Are you kidding me? A happy couple will often watch their wedding footage throughout their lifetime. Some couples watch it as a brainstorming session. Whenever husband and wife come across a tough time (such as an argument,) sit and watch the big day footage. When you see the vows again, the love will grow more.
Summation: Well, here I didn’t discuss common myths related to Wedding Videos such as “you don’t need them.” Hope you enjoyed the article, and you have made the decision already.
